He draws upon his more than thirty years of experience successfully navigating dislocated markets to provide expert advice and practical financial solutions to clients around the world. He is a recognized authority on emerging markets, financial institutions, recapitalization, restructuring, debt renegotiation and special situations. Carlos has worked on numerous transactions in these fields, including the Refco bankruptcy where he played a central role in the bankruptcy resolution. He continues to serve as a Member of the Boards of the Refco Litigation Trust and the Refco Private Actions Trust.
